We began collaborating to create a line of goods + apparel that celebrates the magical energy and community connection of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. PALM SPRINGS PET PHOTOGRAPHY
We were thrilled when Vince was referred to us by a local client. Palm Springs and pets!? Dream project!
Vince wanted a brand that felt elegant and simple, yet incorporated pets, elements of Palm Springs, and the local desert. The challenge for us was creating a brand identity that reflected all of this, but also ensuring that it complemented and didn’t take away from his dreamy, cinematic photography.
The process was a true collaboration and so much fun to bring to life. Vince, like many of our clients, wanted to be able to run with his brand and create his own content right away. We set him up with a versatile brand toolbox with all the brand elements and templates (and guidelines) he would need to create his own cohesive, consistent content, and continue to grow his business.
We love his work so much that we couldn’t wait to have our dog, Lola, photographed.

COVET PALM SPRINGS JEWELRY + ACCESSORIES
We were already fans of Covet jewelry, so we were thrilled when the shop owner, Adrienne, approached us about doing a brand refresh.
Covet was already an established brand with a loyal following, so Adrienne wanted to ensure the brand remained reminiscent of the original. But she wanted an updated, more modern design to better align with the shop's style and its beautiful home in Palm Springs. Beyond the custom typography and logo, we also designed a suite of illustration “tiles” reflective of unique things found in the desert like cacti, roadrunners, and even our famous windmills. We call them “tiles” because they are designed to be mixed and matched, just like the style of Covet’s jewelry.
The illustration tiles were such a hit, we used them in the window design of the storefront and you can even find them on custom-made jewelry charms in the shop!

VAGABOND ROASTING CO.
Our first meeting with Vagabond’s owner, Casey, was (you guessed it) in our twin Westfalia vans! But what quickly fascinated us most about Casey was his passion for the hands on process of craft coffee making, which he actually began inside of his van, “Jude”.
We set out to develop a brand that visually encapsulated his wandering spirit, his respect for coffee ingredients, and also his love for the Coachella Valley and local desert; one of his favorite places to travel with Jude. We intentionally used an illustration style that felt hand-done and imperfect to reflect his hands-on and rustic approach to coffee making. With an ode to his van (and original coffee shop) front and center, we surrounded that with custom illustrations of coffee ingredients and desert plants in their native form.
This artwork was made to evoke visual interest that sparks conversation. Not only about coffee, but also about wander, inspiration, community–and that’s what Vagabond coffee is all about. You can find them at local Palm Springs shops, restaurants, and hotels.
